The painting Dame Elizabeth is a reimagined portrait of Dame Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor (Liz Taylor). The artwork is one in a series of semi-abstract portraits (Head Games) that explores the tension and torment expressed through facial fragments and linear patterns. It employs a tetradic color palette (two complementary color pairs) including one dominant color and strategically placed analogous variations throughout the artwork.

The painting was accepted for exhibition in the Philadelphia Water Color Society’s 121st Anniversary International Exhibition. It was selected among 85 finalists from 410 pieces submitted from across the United States, Canada, and 8 foreign countries.
